Ramjet Tooling

At Ramjet Tooling we have realized that our most important assets are our employees and of course our customers. Our Toolmakers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our company and this is why when we were looking at a cad cam system, there was no real question. Our designer / programmer has been using OneCNC for many years. I remember the first version of OneCNC that I started with, it came on a 5 ½ floppy and was loaded on a 486 running Dos Michael says. OneCNC has grown so much from those early days and so have the programmers that use it.

This sort of experience gives us the confidence to allow us to run our Vmc and EDM unmanned as much as we possibly can in conjunction with our web cameras. Below we show a picture from one of our cameras that we monitor from home so that our machines can run long programs unattended.

All this means we make a lot of electrodes for our EDM and do a lot of extremely fine cavity finishing which can take up to 10 hrs at a time to run. It is extremely important to us to be able to run our machines over night to utilize these hours

Our confidence in OneCNC and our web cameras allow us to do this though you need to be sure your program is good if you want to sleep at night. To date we haven't had a problem.

We look forward to the continued support from OneCNC which we have received to date. With the forum and the technical support they give, we don't believe we can go wrong.

Haas UK includes OneCNC with every Toolroom Mill

Haas_1

OneCNC UK are pleased to announce that Haas UK have chosen the OneCNC CAD/CAM package to be supplied with all their Haas tool-room mills.

Haas UK recognise that the majority of companies no matter what brand of CNC Machine they purchase, have to invest in a CAD/CAM system sooner or later. They also know, most CAD-CAM systems are very expensive and can be difficult to use.

By providing them with OneCNC, which is easy to use, very powerful and has no yearly maintenance charges, this will save their customers a further investment of time and money in the future.

Inspiration + OneCNC + CNC = T - Rod

Germany_1_1

The company Technop GmbH, since 1994 on the market based in Plankstadt , Baden-Württemberg, has been one of the first customers for OneCNC Germany. The owner Martin Preuss started in 2001 with multiple versions from OneCNC and continually updated his software. Because of that Technop GmbH is able to use all their machinery efficient and fully utilized.

In 2004 Martin Preuss got together with Luigi Colani, a Star designer, at his exhibition hall in Karlsruhe. After some discussions about a new car the product range of Martin Preuss was unexpectedly larger.

Technop GmbH built the prototype of the sensational vehicle, a Street-Ray. They used OneCNC for the whole construction of the 2D and 3D parts, which were compiled as NC code and transmitted into the CNC lathe and milling machines for production directly used.

This inspired Martin Preuss for his own further development, a T-Rod. He used OneCNC to create and construct again and all the parts are perfectly built using the CNC programs. Here are some impressions of this impressive vehicle:
